Shay

Shay’s passion about life shows through her infectious smile and positive instruction. Her passion for Health, Wellness, and Fitness came at an early age growing up on a small farm outside of Carnation Wa. At the age of 18, Shay started lifting and training aggressively. As her passion for fitness grew, she started helping others meet and achieve their own goals. She started a position at Northwest Physical Therapy in April of 2010 as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Shay has taught Circuit Training classes and a mixture of “Fusion Fitness” classes emphasizing safety, proper form and injury avoidance along with her abundant energy. Shay holds a certification in TRX Group Class.

Hannah began practicing yoga in 2001 as a way to de-stress and add variety to her workout routine. Since then, yoga has grown into so much more. Now a RYT 200 hour certified yoga teacher, Hannah strives to empower her students to find strength, both inside and out, and to cultivate a strong mind and body connection through vinyasa flow practice.

Born and raised in Minnesota, Hannah moved to the Pacific Northwest more than a decade ago, fell in love with the mountains and water and now calls Washington home. She takes every opportunity to get outside and enjoys hiking, mountain biking and skiing. She even loves practicing and teaching yoga outdoors! 

Hannah finds joy in sharing yoga and all its benefits through teaching. She believes yoga is a powerful practice of listening to your body, mind and spirit, which in turn creates a life rich with intention and authenticity.

Lachelle

“Yoga used to be something I did just to stretch and condition my physical body. Now it is a mental, physical, emotional and spiritual practice for me—a continuing journey of experiencing awareness and fullness of life.”

Lachelle is a certified 200 RYT and passionate about yoga from a total mind and body approach. She started practicing yoga in 2014 and it has quickly become a dominant practice in her life. Her aim as a yoga practitioner and instructor is to pursue awareness, instill truth, awaken the heart with kindness, and steadfastly inspire growth. 

“As an instructor, it’s my hope that when people leave class, they feel rejuvenated, connected, inspired to grow, and satisfied with peace. Also gratitude...life is so much better with gratitude.” 

Originally from the Snoqualmie Pass area, Lachelle and her husband Auren moved back to the Pass in the spring of 2017. Besides enjoying activities that living in the mountains provide, Lachelle is a wedding photographer and candlemaker and spends her free time reading, baking and traveling.

Helen

Helen has a passion for sharing her inspirations with others. Whether it is through Helen’s profession as a Botanist or through her Yoga practice. She believes that every person that comes into your life, if just for a second has something to teach us.

Her personal yoga journey began as a 16 year old and after a yard sale find of Richard Hittleman’s: 28 Day Yoga Exercise Plan. This book and numerous teachers have inspired her practice from power Yoga to restorative yoga practices, cultivating her lifelong relationship with Yoga.
“As a child growing up with asthma, learning how to really breath through Yoga completely changed my relationship with exercise and released all of my anxieties and complexes about not being athletic.”

She now has 25 years of a personal yoga practice and she recently obtained her YogaFit certification. Helen’s practice is rooted in moving from within and moving energy from one end of the body to the next. Through a vinyasa style practice, natural dance like movements, challenging balance and strength, the breath is used to create a natural rhythm for these movements.
In both her professional and personal life her love of nature and being outside are shared with her husband and 6 year old daughter through her love of snowboarding/skiing and backpacking. She continues to be a lifelong student of life, Yoga and all the people she has yet to meet.

Yoga is a dance between control and surrender – between pushing and letting go – and when to push and when to let go becomes part of the creative process, part of the open-ended exploration of your being.

Patti

First and foremost, Patti Gomes is a wife and a mother to two high energy children that keep her on her toes. She also has a career as an Esthetician and a very busy Makeup Artist. She feels the calling to help people achieve the best representation of their own inner beauty.

In previous years as a high school athlete, Patti has always understood the importance of conditioning and hard work. She gives credit to those values instilled in her by her basketball coach and she has carried that with her in her fitness journey.

It wasn't until Patti met her fitness mentor,  Candi Shults, that Patti formed a passion for RIPPED fitness and cycling. Just this year she took the leap to become a RIPPED instructor herself and has truly found another one of her callings. She loves giving high energy, positive vibes, and inspiring others to push themselves to work harder to be proud of themselves for their very own fitness achievements. Patti likes to make fitness fun with fan favorite music that inspires people to move and dance, and also with lots of love and laughter to keep people coming back to her class.

Bev

Beverly and Bob moved to Upper Kittitas County in June 2014. Prior to that, they had lived at Green Lake in Seattle for 35 years. Bev earned a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Washington and her elementary education degree from Seattle University. She has taught in both the public and private sectors. Bev began practicing Yoga in 2000 as a compliment to her passion for hiking and running. She received her 200- hour certification in the Viniyoga tradition in 2007. Before moving to Upper Kittitas County, Bev was teaching eight yoga classes a week.

Bev and Bob love all things related to outdoors (hiking, camping, cross-country skiing and sailing).

Emily

Theatre professor, marathon runner, globe trotter (of the traveling rather than basketball-playing kind), and chocolate-lover, Emily completed her RYT-200 teacher training at Tapas Yoga Shala in Rock Island, IL, in 2015.

Recognizing that everyone needs an opportunity to focus, breathe, and re-connect the mind with the body, Emily teaches classes that use Asanas (postures) to hone balance, flexibility, strength, and confidence, and she strives to reach students where they are, recognizing that yoga can be a useful tool for every age, background, and body type. Emily's personal yoga practice is grounded in the Ashtanga yoga tradition, and she is eager to share her yoga practice and passion with others.
